On the 26th of May, we received the bitter message that Orna Schleyen on blessed memory, is not with us anymore. Orna was a special person. A good listener that knows how to touch people hearts and advice at the right time. She was very supportive to her family as well as to Sanshin Kan-Israel. We, members of Sanshin Kan - Israel are thankful for which Orna did for us during many years. We express our deep sorrow of the dear relatives and family.

SANSHIN-KAN organization was established in the year of 1969.
The roots in Israel are laid in 1975 with first visit of a well known high ranking Karate teachers from Europe and Japan in Israel. In 1978 first Dojo was established in Israel and today the organization enumerates more than 10 Dojos.
SANSHIN-KAN offers Karate and Self-Defense activities as well as separate specialization for those who practice in variant Martial Arts and find interest in traditional Okinawan Weaponry (Ryukyu- Kobudo), supported by The Society for the Preservation and Promotion of the Ancient Martial Arts of the Ryukyu Islands - Ryukyu Kobudo Shimbukan.
